If you were to read the achievements list for Infinity Blade II, you'd come across a rather peculiar one called 'Mind Over Matter'. To get this one, you have to defeat an enemy without attacking him. Say what?
Over on the Epic Games forums, user AzrinRain (Who also captured the photo above) came up with a fairly simple solution for getting this achievement. Basically, you have to get a gem that will do damage to your enemy every time you block. And that's it, really. Just note that parrying counts as swinging your sword at the Titan, and don't even think of trying to use magic. Oh, and if you were to swing at the defeated Titan to get bonus XP, you'll forfeit the achievement.

Hello, and thanks for the input. Your explanation is too simple because the blocks are doled out and you will exhaust them way before defeating the opponent. I have tried to do what you've explained above, and when the shield icon in the bottom center of the screen runs out of numbers (of which 120 is the highest I've ever been able to get), I have to use magic in order to replenish the shield count; of course, this only works with the appropriate gem (which is hexagonal) in place on armor that will take that shape.
SO, can you please tell me how to get around the depleting-shield-count factor? I have yet to achieve "Mind Over Matter."
Have a tip how to gain this achivement easily. Get the gem that damages ur opponent when blocking. I collected several gems of that kind for the heavy weapon and forged them together. So the gem dealt 900+ damage every block. I was on 100+ bloodline(not starting new game+) when I got it so average enemy of mine had about 50k health points) It seems hard to gain the achievement in such a situation, but that's not so. The first way is to restart from bloodline 1) but that's not the thing u want I guess. The second is to kill Raidar and complete the story line.
Then after killing Saydhi u start a regular blood line in the end of which u face Thane. In the beginnig of the story he has extremely low hp. On the 100+ bloodline he got only about 9000 hp. So I killed him easily with my -900hp block gem placed into Torren's legacy(heavy weapon).
